“I can't help but suspect something's off after that play. Every yard in this game matters, but his action was too unusual. He should have charged in to jam right away, but he passed up that opportunity. This isn't random, and I can't overlook it.”
Martin stated after the game, suspecting that there might be some connection between the Patriots and this player's action.
Immediately, Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots legend, responded strongly and criticized Martin for the baseless statements. Gronkowski argued that the suspicions Martin raised were irresponsible and had no clear evidence.
