Multiple sources close to the situation suggest that Mukuba is unhappy with the current contract terms offered by the Eagles and has even hinted that he won’t sign unless the deal is improved.
Taken with the 64th overall pick, Mukuba is a high-upside prospect expected to bolster the Eagles’ secondary with his elite speed, high football IQ, and hard-hitting presence. But despite being the only rookie on the team’s draft list yet to sign, the holdup isn’t due to injury or lack of communication — it’s about money and long-term guarantees.
