Veteran Eagles OT Divorced and Raising Kids Alone Struggles but Remains Key to NFL Championship

In the Philadelphia Eagles’ quest to defend their Super Bowl LIX title, a veteran offensive tackle stands not only as a cornerstone on the field but also as a model of resilience off it. After a challenging divorce, he single-handedly raises three young children, facing immense hurdles, yet with the support of his current girlfriend and the team’s camaraderie, he remains a linchpin in the Eagles’ 2025 championship aspirations.

The 35-year-old lineman, one of the NFL’s elite, endured a painful divorce in 2022 after nearly a decade of marriage. He and his college sweetheart share three children—two boys and a girl, aged 6 to 11. Post-divorce, he became a single father, taking primary responsibility for raising them in Oklahoma during the offseason. Balancing fatherhood with the NFL’s grueling schedule was daunting. In 2021, he battled depression, missing three games for personal reasons as family and mental health struggles piled up. “That period was tough, but my Philly teammates lifted me up. The biggest thanks goes to my girlfriend—she’s sacrificed so much for my kids,” he shared, his voice filled with gratitude.

His girlfriend, a 28-year-old influencer, entered his life in 2022, becoming a vital support. She not only helps care for his children but also aids him through emotional stress, especially during the 2025 offseason when they got engaged (April 2025). She frequently brings the kids to Eagles games, fostering family stability. On the field, he remains a rock, protecting Jalen Hurts and paving the way for Saquon Barkley, contributing to the Eagles’ 14-3 record in 2024. In the 2025 preseason, he played 85% of snaps against the Jets (August 22), allowing zero sacks, proving his enduring value.

His resilience inspires Eagles fans on X and Reddit, who hail him as a “silent hero.” Coach Nick Sirianni has said, “He’s the heart of our line, overcoming every obstacle to lead.” With the season opener against the Cowboys (September 4, 2025) nearing, he remains the anchor for the team’s title defense. Will he continue to shine on and off the field? Philly’s faith is unwavering.
